A win would be nice

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHERS:

2016 W L ERA FIP K% BB% AVG BABIP HR GS IP fWAR
Jake Odorizzi 2 3 3.36 4.19 20.7% 6.9% .222 .247 9 11 61.2 0.7
Ricky Nolasco 2 3 5.28 3.76 21.5% 4.9% .269 .318 8 10 58.0 0.9

One of the lone bright spots for the Rays right now is Jake Odorizzi who has slightly turned it around after a rough start against Oakland a few weeks ago. In fact, with the exception of two very poor starts, Odorzzi has been excellent this year. During his last outing, Odorizzi flirted with history, only to have it smashed by Starlin Castro. Jake carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, but would allow a two run homer and actually suffer his third loss of the despite seven innings pitched, just the two runs on one hit, while he also walked one and struck out six.

Ricky Nolasco Scouting Report:

Nolasco turned in his best performance since the end of April his last time out as May brought him some struggles. During his last start, Nolasco delivered six innings, yielding just two runs on three hits -- one home run -- while walking one, and he also racked up seven strikeouts, earning his second victory of the season.
