Matt Andriese continued to impress during his last start as he flummoxed the Royals for seven innings, allowing just two runs -- one earned -- on five hits, while he walked two and struck out three. Since Andriese has been up, three of his five starts have resulted with him allowing an earned run or less, with him accumulating a total of 23 innings over those starts.

Ervin Santana Scouting Report:

It's been an up and down season for Santana, whose had a third of his starts go for less than four innings. However, when he does surpass the four inning mark, he has been superb, with his last start being one of those excellent outings. On May 30th, Santana delivered seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits -- one homer -- while he walked two and struck out five, but still ended up with his fourth loss of the season.
