It was more of the same from Chris Archer his last time out as he again went six innings, as he allowed five runs -- four earned -- eight hits. However, one positive is he didn't allow a home run, as he had given up five long balls over his last four starts. Archer still picked up the loss though, his seventh of the season, and third in a row.
Robbie Ray Scouting Report:
Ray has struggled with his command this year, as well as being inconsistent as he can put together a quality start, but can't seem to continuously string those starts together. He's currently averaging around four walks per every nine innings pitched. His last time out, he lasted just five innings as he allowed three runs on six hits, walking two and striking out six.
