Rays Links:
- Desmond Jennings left last night’s game dealing with a hamstring issue, he’s considered day-to-day
There’s no way that actually happened last night, right?
- Taylor Motter’s former stomping grounds found themselves victorious in the College World Series
HOW DOES A MLB TEAM ALLOW EIGHT RUNS IN THE NINTH INNING!? HOW IS DANA EVELAND STILL ON THIS TEAM!? WHY DID CASH LEAVE GARTON AND RAMIREZ SO LONG?!
- Alex Cobb and Chase Whitley are close to beginning rehab assignments, Steven Souza will play for Port Charlotte tonight, and an update on Brad Boxberger
Seriously, what has to happen for something to go right for the Rays, what do I need to do?
- On Wednesday night, the Rays did their annual Rays on the Runway fashion event for charity
I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything more from the Rays...with the way this season has gone. Everything is just bad.
- Matt Moore is back, but may soon be going as trade season heats up
I get it. I accept that things like last night will happen. Hopefully the Rays will be able to move on and take these next three games from the Tigers!
Also, I heard the Rays may be thinking of doing a certain sale in the coming weeks!
Around the League:
- Erasmo Ramirez’s performance last night may have possibly dampened his trade suitors, but one of those teams had already made a deal as the Dodgers acquired Bud Norris from Atlanta
- The Marlins have a very strong bullpen and have made it even better after acquiring Fernando Rodney from the Padres
- Save America’s Pastime is an actual bill that was brought before congress that may possibly limit minor league player’s earnings...seriously
- The Giants actually used Madison Bumgardner as their starting DH, and he doubled for them in his first at-bat
- Clayton Kershaw has been placed on the disabled list without a time table for his return
- Cheer up with dreadful/joyous moment as this Yankees player whiffed on a pitch out
- An Independent League team has made waves after signing two women to be professional baseball players
