Chris Archer was effective his last time out but for the 13th time this season, he failed to get past six innings. He did keep the Tigers scoreless while on the mound, allowing three hits, walking three, and racking up 10 strikeouts before leaving the game after recording two outs in the sixth inning en route to a no-decision.
Sean O'Sullivan Scouting Report:
O'Sullivan did what the Red Sox needed him to do his last time out as he was able to deliver five quality innings, giving the Red Sox an opportunity to win (which they did). O'Sullivan would allow two runs on four hits, walking three and striking out two resulting in his second victory of the season.
