The trade deadline has finally arrived and after weeks of rumors, speculation, and gossip, the Rays have been one of the most popular names around baseball...and so far have nothing to show for it.
As this goes live, we are just four hours away from the 4:00 PM EST deadline, and it's been a quiet day, but all of that can all change in an instant. This could easily be several players of the team's last day as a member of the Rays with Steve Pearce, Matt Moore, Jake Odorizzi, Chris Archer, Erasmo Ramirez, and Drew Smyly all being prime candidates to be moved.
Earlier today, Danny rounded up all of the necessary reading material to keep you well informed on the deadline, potential Rays targets, and the value of players the Rays may trade. Go there to see all the articles regarding Tampa Bay’s 2016 deadline dealings.
We will be updating this article with relevant tweets and news until the deadline is done, also, be sure to check out our Facebook page later on this evening as Darby will be going live to recap the day's events and answer questions on any of the dealings made around baseball.
