Chris Archer continued his run of solid starts during his last outing as he has continued to get better since his horrid start to the year. During his last start on the 6th against the Twins, Archer allowed a run on three hits, while he walked three and struck out seven over six innings pitched en route to his sixth victory of the season.

After starting off the year with a solid two month run, Sabathia's season has gone awfully since his start on June 22nd. Heading into that start, Sabathia had an ERA in the low two's and a FIP in the low three's, but since then it has ballooned. Over his last nine starts, Sabathia has an ERA in the six's and FIP in the five's. His last start came on the 6th against the Indians where he allowed three runs on six hits -- two home runs -- while he walked four and struck out five before departing with two outs in the sixth inning.
