Game 116 Preview: Tampa Bay Rays vs New York Yankees

The Rays hope to avoid a series sweep in New York

Jake Odorizzi didn't pitch all that great his last time out, especially compared to how he had been performing, but he was still solid. On the 8th in Toronto, Odorizzi allowed four runs -- two earned -- eight hits, one homer, while he walked three and struck out four before leaving with one out in the sixth inning.

Luis Severino Scouting Report:

Severino is back in the major leagues after a short stay in Triple-A as he is filling in for Nathan Eovaldi who was placed on the disabled list. Severino made a start on the 9th against the Red Sox where he allowed five runs on seven hits, while he walked none and struck out three before leaving the game with one out in the fifth inning.
