TODAY'S STARTING PITCHERS:

Jake Odorizzi turned into a prototypical outing that we had seen from him during the early and middle stages of this season. His last start came on the 14th against the Yankees against New York where he allowed three runs on five hits, two home runs, while he walked one and struck out six over six innings pitched en route to his seventh victory of the season.

A.J. Griffin Scouting Report:

Griffin was off to a fine start to his Rangers tenure this year, but since his return from the disabled list in late June, he has not pitched very well at all. Before hitting the disabled list, Griffin had an ERA/FIP combo of 2.94/3.50, but since his return, that combo is 5.82/6.50. His last start was his longest since returning, but it wasn't that great as he allowed six runs on 11 hits, three home runs, while he walked one and struck out eight before departing with two outs in the seventh inning.
