TODAY'S STARTING PITCHERS:

Jose Berrios 2 1 8.57 5.84 25.3% 12.1% .294 .364 5 5 21.0 -0.1
Chris Archer 5 15 4.38 4.02 27.1% 8.8% .242 .304 22 23 137.2 1.8

Archer turned in another solid performance during his last outing as he steadily claws his way back to ace status. Archer pitched one out into the eighth inning and surrendered three runs on six hits -- one homer -- while he walked one and struck out six, but still got saddled with his major league leading, 15th loss of the season.

Jose Berrios Scouting Report:

Berrios had the best start of his brief major league career his last time out on the 1st against the Indians as he allowed three runs on five hits, while he walked none and struck out five over six innings of work to pick up his second career victory. Granted, it was just his second career start, but it was also his first major league outing since May 16th where he absolutely pummeled by the Detroit Tigers.
