TODAY'S STARTING PITCHERS:

2016 W L ERA FIP K% BB% AVG BABIP HR GS IP fWAR
Kyle Gibson 3 6 4.94 4.46 16.5% 7.3% .283 .317 11 14 82.0 0.7
Matt Andriese 6 2 2.72 3.03 19.2% 5.7% .219 .261 4 9/19 76.0 1.7

Andriese made his much deserved return to the starting rotation his last time out and he didn't disappoint. He didn't pitch too deep into the game as he will have to build his endurance back up but he delivered four innings, and allowed just one run one three hits, while he walked none and struck out three.

Kyle Gibson Scouting Report:

Kyle Gibson suffered his worst start of the season his last time out, which is too bad considering his two performance prior had been excellent. Gibson gave up a season high six runs, on 10 hits -- two homers -- while he walked one and struck out two before departing with two outs in the fifth inning.
