Despite his long early season struggles, Chris Archer has turned in a very quality season that most pitchers would be content with. It is certainly not the ace level kind of season that was expected. Masahiro Tanaka is a really good pitcher, and he is currently having the best year of his so far brief major league career. Over his last four starts, he has been exceptional as he's only allowed four runs total. The last time he allowed more than two runs was just barely under a month ago against the Rays when they tallied four against him. His last start came on the 5th against the Blue Jays where he allowed two runs on seven hits while he uncharacteristically walked three and struck out four before departing with one out in the seventh inning.
