The Rays took a series (and the season series, overall) from the Toronto Blue Jays, putting some heat on their seat in the last wildcard spot. Playing spoiler is fun, especially when there’s a real sense of urgency for the team you’re spoiling. Both Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion could potentially leave town next season, and carltriano looks at the Jays’ contention window.
