Rays News:

• Another late inning loss for the Rays as they failed to hold a 1-0 lead in a game where three home runs were all the scoring that was done. Corey Dickerson hit his 21st home run of the season, while Manny Machado and Mark Trumbo did the damage for Baltimore.
• The Rays acquired Brad Miller last November in a six player trade and with close to one season in the books, they look like the clear winners of the deal
• Steven Souza is heading to Nashville to have his hip examined and to determine whether surgery will be required
• Evan Longoria’s resurgence this year has re-certified his status as one of the top players in the league, and has also received him praise from his teammates
• Bobby Wilson is enjoying his second tenure with the Rays much more than his first and he’s making a solid case to be with the club in 2017
• Richie Shaffer has had a disappointing 2016 season, at least statistically speaking, however he has learned many things...specifically what not to do
