Alex Cobb's return from Tommy john Surgery has gone about as well as anyone could hope for. He struggled some with his control the last time out, but still pitched very effectively as he lasted two outs into the seventh inning and allowed only a run on two hits, while he walked three and struck four, picking up his first win of the season.
Masahiro Tanaka Scouting Report:
Tanaka just keeps getting better and better, which is terrifying, because he is already one of the best pitchers in all of baseball. Over the past month, he has been particularly dominant as he possesses an ERA of 1.34 over his last six starts, including an outing against the Rays. His last time out was on the 15th in Boston where he allowed a run on three hits, while he did walk three, but also struck out none over seven innings pitched.
