First, a brief interlude. The Rays game was by far the least important baseball game tonight, even for Rays fans. The Miami Marlins took around 15 minutes before their game tonight to honor Jose Fernandez, and it was a beautiful ceremony all around:

So that’s something. Rays lose 7-1 on one of the worst games of the season. Honestly the presidential debate was far more entertaining than this. Hopefully tomorrow the Rays will perform just a bit better.
