A quiet day of baseball as a rain caused the only scheduled game to be postponed. There are only two division series left to be decided with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros already punching their tickets to the league championship series.
The Washington Nationals and Chicago Cubs will play the 4th game of their series today at 4 with Tanner Roark taking on Jake Arrieta. The Cubs currently hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
The ALDS will be decided tonight with the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians splitting the first two games of the series. The Yankees are sending CC Sabathia to the mound and he’ll be opposed by Corey Kluber, that game is scheduled for 8.
- Quiet day for the Rays, but this morning the team is sending aid to Puerto Rico along with several other local organizations
- If anyone is in the market for a mansion, the Crime Dog Fred McGriff has put his Tampa Bay home on the market
- Fans of the Washington Nationals were tremendously happy about the rainout, until Dusty Baker said Steven Strasburg wouldn’t get the start...for reasons
- The Boston Red Sox have fired John Farrell following the team’s quick departure from the playoffs
