Hillsborough County Commissioner Ken Hagan today announced that he has found a site for a new baseball stadium that could become the new home of the Tampa Bay Rays.
The site is at the edge of Ybor City — a location that has been discussed at length in the Tampa Bay Times and that we have covered here — but the specific location in Ybor is not one previously discussed.
As reported by WFLA Channel 8, the site borders Adamo Drive to the south, with its east and west boundaries at 15th Street and Channelside Drive, respectively. It is truly at the intersection of Ybor and the Channel District.

The location appears to have been leaked to the local NBC affiliate, as Hillsborough County’s full proposal has not been finalized, but the Rays response to this evening’s news seems to indicate this location is somewhat final:
