With yesterday’s mega trade of franchise star, Evan Longoria, the Tampa Bay Rays roster looks extremely different, despite just one player leaving the active roster.

The Rays now have a hole at third base, that as of now, they hope will be filled by Matt Duffy. Opening up a spot up the middle for the recently acquired Ryan Schimpf. The Rays still haven’t signed a first baseman, so for the time being, Brad Miller looks to be their man.

Denard Span will slot into left field for the Rays, pushing Mallex Smith to be the team’s 4th outfielder.
