Welcome back for the second week of Tampa Bay Rays Sporcle Trivia, or TBRST for short.
Last week, you all proved how little you actually knew about the Rays and their history as only 21.7% of you guessed Shawn Riggans, come on people.
You’ll be getting a second chance this week as we tackle the first basemen of Rays past...and present (wink, wink).
Anyway, the object is to answer which players in Rays history have hit the most home runs while manning first base (the leader is actually responsible for a 1⁄3 of all the HR hit by a Rays first baseman).
Good luck.
Some tidbits on Rays fist basemen.
- Rays first basemen have collectively slashed .260/.347/.441 with 481 HR
- They have the most HR, RBI, Walks, OBP, SLG, and OPS
- There have been 66 players to man first base for the Rays, an average of just over three per year, 12 of those players only took the position for one game
Don’t be ashamed of your score, let everyone know how you did and reminisce about the players you got right or wrong.
We will be back again next week with the second basemen of Tampa Bay Rays past.
