Rays baseball is back after off-day on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox finished with the game tied at three, the Rays second tie of the spring brought their record to 10-8-2.
Some Notables
- Casey Gillaspie homered for the third time this spring
- Corey Dickerson, Patrick Leonard, Brad Miller, and Luke Maile, as well as Gillaspie each had hits
- Matt Andriese pitched an out into the fourth inning, he allowed a run on five hits, no walks, and he struck out three
Today’s Game
The Rays will take on the Minnesota Twins (seems like they’ve faced them a lot this spring) at 1pm in Port Charlotte. No television broadcast, but the game can be heard through Raysbaseball.com
Erasmo Ramirez will get the start and he’ll be followed by Shawn Tolleson, Diego Moreno, Jaime Schultz, Andrew Kittredge, and Neil Wagner.
The Rays are sending out a plausible Opening Day lineup with the exception of Kevin Kiermaier as the DH.
In the outfield from left to right is Corey Dickerson, Mallex Smith, and Steven Souza.
In the infield from left to right is Evan Longoria, Tim Beckham, Brad Miller, and Logan Morrison. Curt Casali is behind the plate.
