Triple-A Durham Bulls (7-4)

A day after Willy Adames hit his first Triple-A home run, Jake Bauers hit his first in Durham's 7-5 loss to Gwinnett Sunday. Gwinnett scored two in the top of the first, but Bauers' two-run shot in the bottom half immediately tied the score. The Bulls wouldn't score again until their three-run seventh to tie the game again at five. Mike Marjama hit the third of three straight singles to start the inning to drive in Patrick Leonard, and Granden Goetzman later drove in two with a single. With two outs in the ninth, Ryne Stanek allowed two inherited runners to score. Starter Jacob Faria allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (5-5)

For the second straight day, Montgomery blew a lead in the eighth inning, this time resulting in a 5-4 loss to Birmingham. The Biscuits trailed 2-0 after one, but RBI singles from Nathan Lukes later tied the game. In the seventh, Michael Russell's sacrifice fly gave them their first lead, and Justin Williams followed with his first home run of the season. An inning later, Jose Alvarado walked a couple batters and eventually allowed a go-ahead two-run homer. Brad Schreiber allowed two runs in three innings in a spot start.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (2-9)

Genesis Cabrera delivered his best start of the young season, but it was in a 4-2 Charlotte loss to Lakeland. After two rough outings to begin his season, Cabrera faced the minimum through three innings before some control and defensive strikeouts cost him. A runner reached on an error, moved up to third base on a wild pitch and passed ball and scored on a sacrifice fly. Cabrera only allowed the unearned run on one hit and a walk in five innings. Both Kevin Padlo and David Rodriguez doubled and reached base three times.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (6-4)

Bowling Green was off.
