The Tampa Bay Devil Rays officially became a part of major league baseball in March of 1995.
Since then the Devil Rays/Rays have provided over 20 years of trades, DFA’s, Rule 5 decisions, on-field strategy and clubhouse chemistry to chew on. Looking back, which moments have brought the greatest regrets?
We are using “moments” quite loosely here. Great disappointments can include the underwhelming performance of the ‘The Hit Show’ to failing to protect Josh Hamilton to whiffing on a Cliff Lee trade in 2010.
Or maybe these are the low points that stick with you:
@Adam_A_Sanford 2010 ALDS G5..after a 96 win season and an AL East title, & w/ so many losses in FA coming, to go 0-3 at home and lose w/ Price twice, stunk

@Adam_A_Sanford '11 Draft, Dewon Brazelton, taking the time to get Hamilton clean & losing him, Saunders Injury, Vinny Castilla

@Adam_A_Sanford The hiring of Chuck LaMar ....terrible!

So, if you had to narrow it down to your top five disappointing Rays moments, what would crack the list?
