While Jake Bauers and Jacob Faria performed well for Durham, the team's lowest full-season affiliate wasn't so hot Saturday

Jacob Faria's 6 1/3 innings Saturday is just the third time he's recorded an out in the seventh inning in 22 career Triple-A starts. It was certainly one of his best starts of the season.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (27-14)

Durham scored five in the first, and Jacob Faria cruised in Durham's 6-0 win over Gwinnett. Willy Adames tripled in a run and scored on a strike-three wild pitch, Curt Casali drove in two with a single, and Johnny Field's sacrifice fly capped the scoring. With the early run support, Faria was able to settle in for 6 1/3 one-hit, scoreless innings with nine strikeouts. Adam Kolarek, Jeff Ames and Ryan Garton completed the shutout out of the bullpen, and Jake Bauers hit his fifth home run.

SS Willy Adames: 2-for-5, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 1 K
1B Jake Bauers: 1-for-3, 2 R, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K

Charlotte's game was again suspended.

Class-A Bowling Green Hot Rods (17-23)

Bowling Green was no-hit by three Dayton pitchers in a 2-0 loss to the Dragons. Scott Moss tossed the first six innings, followed by two from Carlos Machorro, and Brian Hunter recorded a save. Hot Rods starter Kenny Rosenberg allowed both runs in four innings with six strikeouts.

SS Lucius Fox: 0-for-2, 1 BB, 1 K
