Charlotte and the Florida State League All-Stars will be in Lakeland Saturday.

If you're looking for when the short-season affiliates start, look no longer. Hudson Valley opens in Aberdeen Monday. Princeton starts at Pulaski Thursday, but you'll have to wait until June 26 for the GCL Rays.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (40-25)

Ryan Yarbrough had a tough time in Durham's 8-0 loss to Columbus. Yarbrough was charged six runs on five hits and three walks in 5 2/3 innings. Ryan Brett doubled twice.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (29-35)

Charlotte was outlasted by Fort Myers by a 3-2 score in nine innings in Game 1 of its doubleheader. Back-to-back RBI singles by Brett Sullivan and Dalton Kelly gave the Stone Crabs a 2-0 lead in the third, but they only had three hits the rest of the way. Starter Eduar Lopez struck out five and allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings. An error helped the Miracle win the game against Michael Velasquez.

The Stone Crabs didn't have much more like in a 3-1 loss in Game 2. Fort Myers scored in the first and led 3-0 when Charlotte got an unearned run in the seventh. Brock Burke allowed all three Miracle runs in four innings.
