From Mark Topkin’s notes, Jake Odorizzi seems on track to make his next scheduled start. There’s also confirmation of what many of us suspected, that Wilson Ramos may still be struggling with a tweaked hamstring, and might be overworked.
Manager Kevin Cash talked about needing to be a better job getting him the right amount of playing time. Also, there’s a Matt Andriese update. Lots in these notes. Give them a read.
There were also a lot of good interviews in the Rays Radio postgame article, with Corey Dickerson, Tommy Hunter, Kevin Cash, Blake Snell all featured.
Dickerson talks about his slump, talking about how, on the three-run game-winning homer, he really wanted to not miss his pitch. He says that this is the first big slump he’s been in this year, but that he thinks it’s mental, not physical, and that he’s dealt with slumps before.
