Zacrey Law walked off the Hudson Valley Renegades while Brent Honeywell lead Durham to a series clinching victory.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (3-1)
The Bulls punched their ticket to the International League finals with a 4-3 win over the Indianapolis Indians. Honeywell was roughed up early, yielding three runs in the first five innings, but the Bulls’ bats would back him up near the end. The Bulls put up two runs in the top of the sixth, and Justin O’Conner would drive in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth with a two-out, two-run single. Diego Castillo stranded a runner at second base in the bottom of the ninth to pick up the save and seal the series victory.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (2-2)
Assisted by four errors, the Biscuits were able to knot up their playoff series with the Chattanooga Lookouts with a 2-0 victory in game 4. With a pitcher’s duel holding hostage all scoring in the game four the first six innings, it took defensive miscues for the Biscuits to get on the board. In the top of the seventh, Dalton Kelly reached on an error with one out after Grant Kay had singled, and then another error from first base man Jonathan Rodriguez allowed the runners to get to second and third. On the ensuing play, Nick Ciuffo reached base on a fielder’s choice error on second baseman Ryan Walker permitted the first run from coming across home plate. In the eighth inning, Joe McCarthy doubled with two out in the inning, and another error by second base man Ryan Walker let McCarthy come home with Jake Cronenworth putting the ball in play. Those were all the runs Montgomery needed, as six pitchers combined to shut out Chattanooga.
As a side note, pitchers Xavier Cedeno and Nathan Eovaldi began their rehab assignments and each tossed a scoreless inning.
