Triple-A Durham Bulls (1-0)

The Durham Bulls took a 1-0 lead in their playoff series against the Indianapolis Indians with a 10-3 victory. In the first inning four walks and a Jake Bauers RBI single put the Bulls up 2-0. In the second Willy Adames’ RBI single extended the Bulls lead to 3-0. After the Indians closed to within one the Bulls put the game out of reach with a six run fifth inning. The inning started with singles by Adames and Bauers ahead of a RBI double by Patrick Leonard. The Leonard double was the only extra base hit of the game for the Bulls. The inning got out of control with two errors by the Indians defense.
