With how quiet the MLB offseason has been so far, it sure doesn’t seem like Spring Training is just 35 days away.
Pitchers and catchers report February 13, with the first game(s) taking place February 23 when the Rays travel to Bradenton and Sarasota for a split-squad series with the Pirates and Orioles. Unfortunately, these games will not be televised, but they will be available via MLB.com audio.
The Rays will play 33 spring training games over the five week period. Of those 33, six are currently slated to be televised on Fox Sports Sun:
