Ji-Man Choi is having the best offseason already

This would be my first stop, too.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that once an athlete has completed a monumental achievement, there is but one place and one place only they want to go.

Disney World.

In the case of Rays’ DH Ji-Man Choi, he made the most of the team’s proximity to Orlando, and was at the famous park the right after the season ended, wasting no time at all in enjoying his offseason.

In addition to documenting much of the trip on his Instagram stories (he apparently spent a ton of time at the Animal Kingdom... who does that???), he posted some awesome touristy photos from the Magic Kingdom (make sure to go through them all).

It’s delightful and refreshing to see a major league baseball player just running amok in an amusement park. Very “Celebrities, they’re just like us!” Now, based on Choi’s stories, it seems likely that most folks at the park were totally oblivious to the fact that they were milling around alongside Tampa Bay’s home-run hero (these guys certainly do look different when dressed in street clothes).

Here’s to hoping Choi is heading to SeaWorld next.

Update: On day two of his offseason, he went back to Disney.
