Lucius Fox has stood out so far in Arizona.

MLB: All Star Game-Futures Game Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Offseason action picked up this past week as play in the Dominican Republic began. Jesus Sanchez and Vidal Brujan are among the Rays participating.

Hitters

2B Jonathan Aranda, Liga Mexicana del Pacífico

This week: 2 AB, 2 K
Offseason: 2 AB, .000 BA/.000 OBP/.000 SLG

For the second straight offseason, it looks like Aranda will play just a minor role for Yaquis de Obregón. He had a .793 OPS in 144 plate appearances for Princeton in 2018.

OF Ryan Boldt, Arizona Fall League

This week: 7 AB, 2 R, 3 H, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 1 K, 0/1 SB
Offseason: 15 AB, .333 BA/.412 OBP/.333 SLG

He hasn’t done a ton of damage yet, but Boldt has a hit in all four AFL games he’s played in.

2B Vidal Brujan, Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República Dominicana

This week: 9 AB, 1 R, 1 H, 1 RBI, 2 K
Offseason: 9 AB, .111 BA/.111 OBP/.111 SLG

Brujan only played in one game in his winter debut, but he certainly had his fair share of action in the 19-inning contest.

SS Lucius Fox, AFL

This week: 20 AB, 7 R, 9 H, 2 RBI, 6 BB, 4 K, 3/3 SB
Offseason: 34 AB, .412 BA/.512 OBP/.500 SLG

Fox has continued his strong start in the AFL. He’s reached base multiple times in all but one of his eight games so far.

OF Moises Gomez, Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional

This week: 2 AB, 2 K
Offseason: 2 AB, .000 BA/.000 OBP/.000 SLG

Gomez was named the No. 13 prospect in the Midwest League after a breakout season, and he’ll look to retain that momentum in Venezuela this winter.

OF Joe McCarthy, AFL

This week: 10 AB, 2 H, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 2 K
Offseason: 17 AB, .294 BA/.478 OBP/.412 SLG

ESPN subscribers can read Keith Law’s thoughts on Fox and McCarthy.

C Rene Pinto, LVBP

This week: 17 AB, 2 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 5 K
Offseason: 21 AB, .095 BA/.136 OBP/.095 SLG

He’s not off to a particularly good start, but Pinto seems to be taking the reins as his club’s starting catcher.

C David Rodriguez, LVBP

This week: 9 AB, 2 R, 2 H, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 4 K, 0/1 SB
Offseason: 14 AB, .429 BA/.357 OBP/.333 SLG

Rodriguez caught one game and played as the designated hitter in another.

OF Jesus Sanchez, LIDOM

This week: 12 AB, 2 R, 3 H, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 5 K, 0/1 SB
Offseason: 12 AB, .250 BA/.357 OBP/.333 SLG

Sanchez was the No. 2 overall pick in the LIDOM draft in 2017. Most of his at-bats came in the lengthy game alongside Brujan.

RHP Phoenix Sanders, AFL

This week: 3 13 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K
Offseason: 4 23 IP, 9.64 ERA, 2.57 WHIP
