In 1998, Dennis Springer was working in the 8th inning of a one run game in Toronto. The first hitter of the inning, Craig Grebeck, would be plunked by a knuckler. However, home plate umpire, Jim Evans, called Grebeck back to the plate, as he made no attempt to move out of the way of the errant floater. Grebeck would strikeout two pitches later.
