Tampa Bay Rays Opening Day 2018: Game time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Opening Day has finally arrived and with it, a plethora of Rays coverage on TV as Fox Sun Sports and Fox Sports Go will begin their telecast at 8:30 a.m. with a half hour Rays season preview.

That will be followed by a docuseries on baseball in Tampa Bay, Baseball from the Beginning Tampa Bay, with the marathon starting at 9 a.m. and running all the way up to 2:30 p.m. Then they will re-air the season preview.

At 3 p.m, live coverage from Tropicana Field will commence with a special 1-hour pregame show featuring former major leaguer Orestes Destrade, former Rays RHP Doug Waechter, newcomer Michelle Margaux, Rich Hollenberg, and the two up in the booth, Brian Anderson and Dewayne Staats — who returns for his 21st season with the Rays.

First pitch is slated for just after 4 p.m. EDT.

During the telecast, the owner of the Rays, Stuart Sternberg, is expected to take part in an interview, as well as the General Manager, Erik Neander, and the Rays skipper, Kevin Cash.

Following the game, Rays Live! will for air for a half-hour, live from the Trop as they recap the Rays first game of the season.

For Radio Coverage, the Rays Radio Network will begin it’s coverage starting at 3:30 p.m.
