There are moments that define a franchise. Every team, no matter how young or old, has stand-out moments that fans will reflect on for years to come as turning points in a season, or even in the life of the team as a whole.
Sometimes they’re good moments, ones we want to live in forever. A certain Evan Longoria home run comes to mind. Or Matt Garza’s no-hitter. These are shining examples of the franchise at the height of its glory. Golden seconds frozen in time.
Then there are the moments we’d rather forget. The catches missed, the hits not made, the perfectly timed tag-outs at home that changed the fate of a game. Of a season. Perhaps it was a trade, where the return value didn’t quite meet expectations. Or a players lost to injury right when they were most needed.
For this week’s FanPost Friday, we want you to tell us what moment in Rays franchise history you would change, given the opportunity, and what you’d do differently. Head over to the FanPost section and select “New FanPost” on the left, then have fun messing with history.
