Jermaine Palacios’s RBI single in the fourth cut the deficit to 5-3. Tristan Gray led off the eighth with a double to center. Fraley came through with a two out single to cut the deficit to one. Lucius Fox walked to lead off the ninth. Robbie Tenerowicz was hit by a pitch with one out to put the runners on first and second. A passed ball and wild pitch scored the tying run. Tenerowicz was thrown out at home on a groundball to second off the bat of Sanchez. In the tenth inning teams traded runs with the Stone Crabs coming on a RBI single by Fraley. Fox and Miles Mastrobuoni walked to load the bases with the help of the minor league rule that puts a runner at second to start extra innings. Sanchez laced a double off the top of the center field wall to score the winning runs. Brandon Koch came in to throw in the ninth, but was removed due to injury before throwing a pitch to a batter.
