I think it’s safe to say there are a lot of people who might have never learned to love the sport of baseball if not for their fathers. Whether you’re a son or a daughter doesn’t matter, what matters is that for many baseball-loving folks out there, their passion for the game is deeply rooted in a familial connection.
Perhaps your dad took you to your first game when you were barely old enough to walk, or maybe he sat on the couch with you and explained the finer points of the game before you were too cool to spend time with him.
Regardless of how you and your father shared the great game of baseball, we want to hear your best dad-related baseball memories. And with Father’s Day this Sunday, what better time to do it?
Head over to the FanPost section, then select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us your funniest, warmest, or most heartwrenching dad-tales.
