Triple-A Durham Bulls (38-31)
The Durham Bulls fell to the Louisville bats 6-9. The Durham Bulls put up a four run third on the a RBI single by Kean Wong, RBI groundout by Justin Williams, and two-RBI double by Jason Coats. Yonny Chirinos got hit around for seven runs in 2.1 innings allowing seven hits, two walks, and one homer. Through five the Bulls found themselves down 9-4. Brandon Snyder hit a two run homer in the seventh, but the Bulls couldn’t find any more runs.

Port Charlotte Stone Crabs (34-33)
The Port Charlotte Stone Crabs defeated the Lakeland Flying Tigers 6-5 in 11. In the second David Olmedo-Barrera’s RBI single gave the Stone Crabs a 1-0 lead. In the fifth a two run homer by Zac Shephard put the Flying Tigers up 2-1. Back-to-back doubles to start the seventh by Tristan Gray and Kevin Padlo tied the game at two. Teams traded two scores in the eighth. Robbie Tenerowicz came through with a RBI single and Kevin Padlo’s RBI double plated the run. Gray was thrown out at home for the third out of the inning. In the tenth both teams took advantage of the runner placed at second to score single runs. Josh Lowe’s RBI single forced an eleventh frame. With one out and a runner at second the Stone Crabs turned a double play on a fly ball with a relay home to keep the game tied. Gray led off the eleventh for the walk-off RBI single. The Stone Crabs put up 18 hits and all starters picked up at least one.

Rookie Hudson Valley Renegades (3-3)
The Hudson Valley Renegades defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones 8-7 in extras. The Renegades put two runs up in the first with a sacrifice fly by Tyler Frank and a RBI-double by Chris Betts. The Cyclones answered with two runs in the first to tie the game. In the fourth the Renegades took a 4-2 lead with a two-RBI single by Jack Stone. Much like the lead in the first this was short lived as the Cyclones answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame to tie the game. In the fifth the Cyclones took a 5-4 lead. The Renegades tied the game on a bases loaded groundout by Bryce Brown by beating the throw to first on the attempted double play. The Cyclones took a 7-5 lead into the ninth. After a one out walk by Jacson McGowan, Betts launched a game tying two run homer. The Renegades took advantage of the runner starting at second in the tenth with a groundout by Stone to move the runner to third and a sacrifice fly by Ford Proctor to give the Renegades a 8-7 lead. In the bottom of the frame the first two batters struck out, however the second batter reached base on a passed ball on the third strike to give the Cyclones runners at first and third with one out. Jose Brizuela grounded to the pitcher who started the game ending double play.

The GCL Rays remained winless in the young GCL season with a 4-1 loss to the GCL Red Sox. After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the first the Rays answered with a run on a RBI single by Russ Olive to cut the lead to 2-1. That was as close as the Rays would get as they were held scoreless the rest of the game.
