Triple-A Durham Bulls (43-34)
The Durham Bulls dropped the first game of a double header against the Charlotte Knights 5-1. Most of the Knights damage came in a four run fourth that put them up 5-0. Kean Wong’s RBI double in the fifth scored the only run for the Bulls.

The Port Charlotte Stone Crabs dropped the first game of a double header against the Lakeland Flying Tigers 4-1. The Stone Crabs got on the board first with a RBI single in the top of the first off the bat of Jesus Sanchez. The Flying Tigers answered with three runs in the bottom of the frame and held the Stone Crabs scoreless the rest of the way.

Luis Arcendo grounded out with the bases loaded for the second run. Aldenis Sanchez tripled to score two more. A wild pitch capped off the scoring in the frame. Russ Olive brought home the game winning run on a double in the fifth.

The DSL Rays 1 fell to the DSL Marlins 5-4. The Rays 1 extended the game with a run scored on an error with two outs in the ninth. The Rays 1 took advantage of the runner starting at second in the fifth with a sacrifice bunt to move him to third ahead of a wild pitch. It wasn’t enough as the Marlins answered with two in the bottom of the frame.
