FanPost Friday: Who is the best Rays player of all time?

Who do you love best?

MLB: Washington Nationals at Tampa Bay Rays Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Rays may still be a young franchise by MLB terms, celebrating their 20th anniversary just this season, but in that time a lot of very talented players have taken to the Tropicana turf.

It can be hard to pinpoint a “greatest of all time” when the team has yet to win a World Series or send a player to the Hall of Fame. Still, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been tremendous athletes in the mix, or legends in the making (I see you, Platinum Glove-winner Kevin Kiermaier). Also the notion of what makes someone “the best” is entirely subjective. Maybe Steven Souza Jr is your pick for best of all time because of his dugout camaraderie (who doesn’t miss seeing those hugs).

You can select up to five players for your list, which makes things a bit less stressful, and all you need to do is explain WHY you picked them. Maybe you just thought they were fun to watch, or maybe there’s someone on the current roster you think will go down in Rays history. There are no wrong answers here, as long as you give a reason.

Head over to the FanPosts section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us all about who you think the Best Rays Ever are.
