2018 MLB draft Day 1 open thread

The Rays have five selections Monday night as the 2018 draft gets underway.

In one of the most important drafts for the team in recent seasons, the Rays will have three extra picks on Monday — one as compensation for Alex Cobb signing with Baltimore, one as compensation for not signing Drew Rasmussen last season, and one as a competitive-balance pick.
