Triple-A Durham Bulls (32-25)
The Durham Bulls defeated the Scraton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 10-5. The Bulls raced out to a 6-0 lead through the middle of four with Colin Poche opening the game with 2.1 scoreless innings and striking out six of the eight batters he faced. The RailRiders responded with three in the bottom of the fourth, but the Bulls quickly put up a three spot in the fifth to give them a 9-3 lead. The RailRiders were limited to single runs in the sixth and ninth on the way to the Bulls victory. Every batter for the Bulls picked up at least one hit with only two batters failing to pick up at least one extra base hit.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (28-29)
The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Mississippi Braves 6-4. The Biscuits raced out to a 5-0 lead through the middle of the third. The Braves closed the game to 5-2 through three. Montgomery held on. Every hitter in the Biscuits lineup besides Michael Brosseau picked up at least one hit. Nick Solak hit his eighth homer of the year and Brett Sullivan was a homer shy of the cycle.

Class A-Advanced Port Charlotte Stone Crabs (26-29)
The Port Charlotte Stone Crabs defeated the Dunedin Blue Jays 3-1. Despite being held to three hits the Stone Crabs were able to get three runs across the board in the front two frames. Lucius Fox led off the bottom of the first with a walk ahead of Brendan McKay’s first homerun since his promotion to A+ and his second of the season. Josh Lowe walked in the second and moved to third on Rene Pinto’s single. Miles Mastrobuoni drove Lowe in with a groundout to second base. The Blue Jays got their lone run in the seventh when the leadoff hitter Nash Knight reached on a fielding error by Tristan Gray. Knight moved to second on a wild pitch and third on a lineout to right field. Ivan Castillo drove Knight in with a sacrifice fly to center. Spencer Jones opened the game throwing to the first two innings and six batters. Blake Bivens made a 5.1 inning relief appearance. Brandon Koch picked up the five out save.

The Bowling Green Hot Rods were shutout 2-0 by the Lansing Lugnuts. Josh Fleming threw seven innings of one run ball, but was stuck with the loss. Carl Chester was the only batter to pick up multiple hits and Chester and Moises Gomez’s doubles were the only extra base hits for the Hot Rods.

The DSL Rays 1 defeated the DSL Astros 6-4. The Rays 1 blew the game open with a five run second and that would be enough offense to hold on for the lead. Every batters in the lineup except for Juan Garcia ended up with at least one hit.

The DSL Rays 2 fell to the DSL Indians/Brewers 9-2. The Indians/Brewers only managed five hits, but nine walks and six errors led to nine runs. Each team traded runs in the first. The Rays 2 scored another run in the seventh to close the deficit to 4-2, but a five run ninth blew open the game.
