MLB: Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

It’s now been a year since Lucius Fox was promoted to Class A-Advanced Charlotte. In 131 plate appearances for the Stone Crabs last season, he batted .235 with a .608 OPS, 25.2 percent strikeout rate, and 9.2 percent walk rate. In 374 plate appearances this season, he’s batting .284 with a .722 OPS, 20.0 percent strikeout rate, and 9.4 percent walk rate. There has been improvement, but he’s still mostly a singles hitter at this point with a .073 ISO.
