DOTF 7/25: Wander Franco’s hit streak ends at 25

Vidal Brujan goes 4-for-4 with a double and a walk, Brandon Lowe doubles, Michael Mercado roughed up

Wander Franco’s (Princeton Rays) 25 game hit streak came to an end in the night cap of the doubleheader. Brandon Lowe doesn’t homer, but collects two hits including a double.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (58-43)

The Durham Bulls defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 3-1. Kean Wong, Brandon Lowe, Jason Coats, and Andrew Velazquez collected two hits a piece. Bullpen day in Durham held the Mud Hens to a single run on a Mikie Mahtook homer. Velazquez was caught stealing for the first time this year after being successful in his first 24 attempts (22 in AAA and 2 in AA).
