FanPost Friday: Which team are you most okay trading a player to?

There must be another ball club you could stomach watching.

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays at New York Yankees Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Rays fans are no strangers to seeing beloved players traded at the drop of a hat. In just the past year, the franchise has become almost unrecognizable, with the longest tenured players being shipped off to new homes to give the Rays young prospects. Such is the way of baseball.

Still, even as the Evan Longorias and Chris Archers of the team don new jerseys, we find ourselves connecting with different players, maybe ordering new jerseys of our own, and we find new favorites.

At the same time, when you’ve cheered for a guy for his whole major league career, you can’t just be expected to stop caring what he does. Do I check on Chris Archer’s numbers with the Pirates? You bet I do. Do I still keep an eye on Longoria, and even Steven Souza Jr? Of course.

The bonus is that most of the players the Rays have moved in the last year have gone to other likeable teams, and most are not in direct competition with the Rays. Except maybe the Mariners, but I can never get mad at a trade with the Mariners.

There are some teams out there it’s easy to like, and so you can keep cheering on your favorite guy. Maybe even grab yourself a new shirsey.

With that in mind, our FanPost prompt this weekend asks one simple question: Which team would you be most okay seeing your favorite player traded to, and why?

Head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us which player, and where you’d willingly ship him.
