Today is the deadline for team across the league to settle their contracts with arbitration eligible players.
The Tampa Bay Rays are one of many teams that employ the ‘file and trial’ system as they will halt any negotiations with a player until the arbitration hearing, which will be scheduled for a date in February.
MLB Trade Rumors Projections
- Mike Zunino - $4.2M (2nd year)
- Matt Duffy - $2.6M (2nd year)
