Yandy Diaz has been fantastic — while healthy — this season for the Rays since being acquired last off-season during a three team trade with the Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariners. Over the course of .267/.340/.476 with 14 HR across 347 plate appearances helping to lead the Rays to become the American League Wildcard winners and reach the postseason for the first time since their 2013 campaign.
The Tampa Bay Rays begin a best of five game series with the Houston Astros on Friday afternoon. The second game will played on Saturday; after enjoying an off-day on Sunday, the Rays will return to Tropicana Field for the first time since September 25th for game three and a possible game four on Tuesday.
