Rays prospects and winter leagues: Mead homers twice

When the Rays made the Tommy Pham trade, they swapped Team USA teammates. In the first game of the recent Olympic qualifying tournament, Xavier Edwards pinch hit for Jake Cronenworth when the game was out of reach. They later shared the middle infield as starters in a game. Edwards was 2-for-6 in limited action as the youngest player on the roster.
