This afternoon, the Tampa Bay Rays will play their game of the Grapefruit League schedule as they’re set to take on the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:05 in Port Charlotte.

Fans who attend the game will be rewarded with a DJ Kitty mascot head.

Kevin Cash has already set his lineup for the Rays spring opener, with Daniel Robertson leading off, playing second base. Several other of the Rays core members are also slated to play with Tommy Pham (LF), Ji-Man Choi (1B), Kevin Kiermaier (CF), Yandy Diaz (3B), Willy Adames (SS), and Mike Zunino (C) all starting.

Yandy Diaz, who previously said he’d be playing solely first base this spring, will make his Rays debut at the hot corner. Zunino will make his Rays debut behind the plate. Joe McCarthy, who was added to the 40-man roster in November, will get the nod in right field, while non-roster invitee, Jake Smolinski will be the DH.

Austin Pruitt will throw the first pitch of the year for the Rays, with several other Opening Day roster hopefuls also getting turns later on this afternoon. Hunter Wood, Andrew Kittredge, Casey Sadler, Andrew Moore, Luis Santos, Colin Poche, Oliver Drake, and Ryan Merritt are among the pitchers expected to throw.
