The Tampa Bay Rays fell to 0-4 this spring as they dropped another game, this time a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Miami Marlins, who took home their first victory of the spring.
Among the highlights for the Rays were the performances of Joe McCarthy and Brandon Lowe, both of whom had multi-hit days. Colin Poche rebounded from his horrendous spring debut to open the game with a perfect first inning.
The rest of the Rays pitching staff had solid days, with the exception of Casey Sadler and Luis Santos, both of whom gave up two runs apiece.
