On Friday afternoon, the Tampa Bay Rays announced 10 more spring training cuts as they narrow down their roster to 25 players in time for Opening Day this upcoming Thursday.

The following players were reassigned to minor league camp:

Emilio Bonifacio, Jason Coats, Oliver Drake, Mac James, Andrew Kittredge, Hoby Milner, Casey Sadler, Cole Sulser, Jake Smolinski, and Kean Wong.

This leaves the Rays with a total of 30 players left on their spring roster and not many more decisions to make, regarding who will actually make the team.

The positional players are basically set, as to who will be here on March 28th. It is still far from certain which players will be starting and where they’ll play. Matt Duffy is the only question mark as the whether or not, he’ll be healthy or if he’ll have to be placed on the Injured List.

According to Juan Toribio, this is who remains in Rays camp:

Catchers: Mike Zunino, Michael Perez

Infielders: Willy Adames, Daniel Robertson, Joey Wendle, Yandy Díaz, Brandon Lowe,Ji-Man Choi, Matt Duffy

Outfielders: Tommy Pham, Austin Meadows, Guillermo Heredia, Avisaíl García, Kevin Kiermaier

Pitchers: Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Charlie Morton, Ryne Stanek, Diego Castillo, José Alvarado, Chaz Roe, Ryan Yarbrough, Jalen Beeks, Wilmer Font, Yonny Chirinos, Hunter Wood, Emilio Pagán, Adam Kolarek, Anthony Banda, José De León

The remaining battles to be decided are the final bullpen spots and whether or not Matt Duffy will start the year on the Injured List, potentially opening a spot for Guillermo Heredia.

The bullpen battle is seemingly down to Hunter Wood, Emilio Pagan, and Adam Kolarek. Jose De Leon will be placed on the the 60-day IL.

There are now just five days remaining until Opening Day.
